Your client has been everywhere. Nothing has worked. And deep down, you know you can help. You're just not sure how.
You've sat across from someone presenting with tachycardia, pre-syncope, debilitating fatigue, brain fog, unpredictable GI symptoms, and exercise intolerance. Their history is long. Their previous clinicians have been dismissive. They've been told it's anxiety, that they're deconditioned, that they just need to push through. And yet none of that has moved the needle.
Some of your clients will have a formal POTS diagnosis. Others will have been investigated and told they don't quite meet the criteria. Their heart rate didn't hit the threshold on the day, or their symptoms are too variable, or the specialist wasn't sure. But you're looking at them and thinking: this looks like POTS to me. The postural intolerance, the fatigue after minimal effort, the way they can't tolerate an upright position for long. It may not have a clean label, but the physiology is pointing in the same direction. Autonomic dysregulation, nervous system dysfunction, a body struggling to regulate itself under load.
You are not satisfied with simple answers, because you can see that simple answers haven't worked. You know there is more going on. You can feel that you are the right person to help this client, and that exercise physiology has more to offer than the standard approach has allowed for. What you're missing is the framework to work with the complexity in front of you, confidently and purposefully, in a way that is actually grounded in what is happening physiologically.
That gap, between knowing you can help and knowing exactly how, is exactly what this program closes. Dysautonomia is not a niche presentation anymore. It is sitting in your caseload right now, often unlabelled, frequently mismanaged, and desperately in need of a clinician who understands it well enough to say with conviction: I know what to do with this.
"What you are experiencing makes sense to me. Let's explore how to help." This program gives you the understanding to say that, and the clinical tools to back it up.
Clinical capability, not just clinical knowledge.
Articulate the physiological mechanisms underpinning dysautonomia across its major subtypes, including POTS, hyperadrenergic, orthostatic intolerance, and beyond.
Apply a systematic clinical reasoning framework to presentations that span multiple body systems. Know what you are seeing and why.
Design safe, evidence-informed exercise programs for dysautonomia clients, including how to progress, regress, and adapt in real time based on symptom response.
Use creative clinical decision-making tools to problem-solve the cases that have been treatment-resistant, misdiagnosed, or dismissed elsewhere.
Move beyond surface-level vagal work into a clinically grounded understanding of autonomic function, allostatic load, and exercise physiology as a regulatory tool.
Apply the clinical principles across post-COVID dysautonomia, mast cell-related presentations, post-concussion syndrome, and chronic fatigue overlap.
